Girl Scouting builds girls of confidence, courage, and character, who make the world a better place. Every year girls work hard to achieve their Girl Scout Bronze Award, Girl Scout Silver Award and Girl Scout Gold Award. These achievements give girls experience in planning and implementing community service projects. These projects contribute to their communities and help build stronger neighborhoods.
Girls from troops all over the Girl Scouts – Foothills Council, Inc., as well as independent Girl Scouts, donate to food pantries, participate in programs at Nursing Homes, and help with community clean-up projects. These efforts lay a foundation for a lifelong commitment to service.
If you are interested in more information about the Girl Scout Bronze Award, the Girl Scout Silver Award, or the Girl Scout Gold Award, please contact Karen Lubecki, Program Specialist, at the Girl Scouts - Foothills Council, Inc. office at (315) 733-2391, ext. 28 or at klubecki@girlscoutsfoothills.org.
