___ First-Aid Skills Session
Participants take the skills session for the on-line, blended learning First Aid course. Participants must complete the online session, print out your verification and bring it to the skills session. Register for the online class at: www.mohawkvalleyredcross.org/services/bl.html and mention Girl Scouts. There is a fee of $10.00 to American Red Cross for the on-line course.

Every young woman has the potential to become a leader when given the proper tools. In this session, tools and techniques will be shared to help girls become future leaders.

___ Sit – Upon Success
Sit-Upons are a Girl Scout tradition. While making your own sit-upon, you will also discover a variety of methods for sit-upon success. Please bring two yards of waterproof material and scissors.

Focus on the requirements and process of obtaining these earned awards; have your questions answered about helping girls meet these rewarding goals.
___ SWAPS
These traditional exchanges are still the perfect way for Girl Scouts to meet each other and promote friendship. Each one is a memory of a special event or Girl Scout Sister. Join us in discovering what SWAPS are, their history, and the etiquette of SWAPS. Included are great ideas on SWAPS to make and share.

Learn Girl Scout cookie recipes while sampling, gain insight into Destination 1000 sales strategies, and try out some Girl Scout cookie crafts. We will also have a little Q and A time.
___ Girl Scout Ceremonies and Traditions
Ceremonies mark special Girl Scout events throughout the year. They can celebrate major transitions, commemorate accomplishments, or make the beginning or end of your group’s meeting special. You can also plan a ceremony around a theme that you wish to explore in thought, words, or song. Whatever its purpose, every Girl Scout ceremony enables girls to share in a special part of Girl Scout history and create their own special memories.
