In Their Shoes
Have you ever wondered what it is like to have a disability? The Girl Scouts and Herkimer RCIL have partnered to present this wonderful opportunity to Girl Scouts of all ages! At this program, you will have the chance to see what a person with tunnel vision sees by using our home-made tunnel vision goggles. Wonder what it feels like to have asthma or to move around in a wheelchair? We have interactive activities available so you can find out the answers to the above questions and so much more! This is the perfect time to learn about disabilities and find out how people live, work, HAVE FUN and even drive. Every Girl Scout will receive a fun patch and snack.
