Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts can earn the Listening to the Past Try-It at Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute with a trip back into the Victorian era during the holiday season. Daisy Girl Scouts will receive a fun patch. Girls will learn about holiday customs of the nineteenth century while touring the festively decorated Fountain Elms, home of the Institute’s founders. In addition to the tour, girls will play games popular back then, act out (with props), The Night Before Christmas, by Clement C. Moore in 1823, and make a Victorian Christmas Cracker filled with sweet treats! Depending on your tour time, come early or stay late to visit other galleries in the museum and the Gift Shop.
