Campership Fund
Girls learn important skills, make new friends, develop independence and try exciting new things while at camp. It’s a terrible thing to turn a child away from summer camp because she can’t afford to attend. In 2007, Girl Scouts - Foothills Council, Inc. received 107 requests for financial aid to send girls to camp and we anticipate that the need will only grow. Please help this group of very special and deserving girls make their dream of going to camp come true.
The cost of one week of Resident Camp ranges from $220 to $375 per participant. One week of Day Camp cost ranges from $170 to $180 for each camper. The Girl Scouts – Foothills Council, Inc. provides transportation for day campers and, along with Operation Sunshine, subsidizes the cost of attendance.
Girl Scouts is for every girl, everywhere, and we are committed to provide help so they, too, can participate in activities that will help them develop into responsible, confident and caring adults.
Please lend your support to the camp experience by contributing to the Campership Fund. Your contribution will directly send a deserving girl to camp. Thank you for helping girls explore their unlimited possibilities.
