There are a number of volunteer opportunities available. You can work directly with girls, work with other adults, or use your skills quietly at home. You can volunteer for a specific program, or be part of a group that meets on a regular basis. Tell us your interests and your time constraints, and we will suggest some volunteer roles that you will enjoy.
Volunteers must have a willingness to help girls grow strong and have an open mind. The Girl Scouts – Foothills Council does not require previous experience. We will provide you with training, resources and the encouragement need to help girls. Most importantly, volunteers DO NOT need to be parents to participate. Girls need a variety of experiences that can only be provided by volunteers of all ages and backgrounds.
